About the event
Developed together with the diverse communities of San Francisco, the 2023 Hungry Ghost festival celebrates our ancestors in Chinatown. After a week-long blessing and chanting session, the activities accumulate in a magnificent Ghost King parade, followed by art and music in Portsmouth Square.
